Are there any programs supporting young immigrants in Greece?

There are various programs aimed at supporting young people, including young immigrants. Those can affect the ease with which Greek businesses can find and maintain their HR talent.

For example, in Greece, there is the “My Home” program that offers low-interest housing loans for young people up to 39 years old. This program is aimed at young people and young couples (with religious/civil marriage or cohabitation agreement) 25-39 years old.

Also, there is the “Save-Renovate” program that starts at the end of 2023 and is aimed at young people from 18 to 39 years old.

These programs can provide significant support to young people, including young immigrants, to cope with the challenges they face in society and the labor market. However, it is important to note that access to these programs may depend on various factors, such as the legal status of immigrants.

A prerequisite of these programs is to enter the tax credentials of the applicants. Therefore they must reside and work legally in Greece to benefit from these programs, while they prove as an incentive towards ethical sourcing and labor in full compliance of the law, both for the workers as well as for the employers in Greece.
